They lowered the bar for evil a lot here though it seems. ![]() Since modifiers canceleled out, you could actually do better diplomacy with the True Good do-gooders (presumably to lecture at you and convert you from the manifold errors of your ways) In 3, since modifiers from both sides added up, you couldn't even really do diplomacy with fellow evildoers (presumably because they knew not to trust you). It was always the consequence of more rewarding, quicker, more convenient actions. In the core alignment mechanics (ie special magics exploiting it nonwithstanding), evil was never rewarding in itself in AoW games. ![]()
